Join us as we host Dr. Marina Udier (Yale Chem PhD, 2004) for a conversation on transitioning careers from academia to business. Marina's career after receiving her Yale PhD has been multi-faceted, including: Management Consulting (McKinsey), Big Pharma (Novartis), Venture Capital (Versant Ventures) and now Biotech (CEO, a.i., NousCom). Dr. Udier's Extended Bio:
Marina is currently the CEO a.i. of Nouscom, a Swiss biotechnology company developing cancer immunotherapy therapeutics. Marina received her PhD in Chemistry from Yale University, researching HIV/AIDS. She then spent the next 5 years at McKinsey & Company in Chicago, working with Healthcare Fortune 500 companies in areas of marketing, strategy and pricing. She later joined Novartis Pharma in Basel in various senior development and commercial roles, including as the Global Commercial Head, Near Patient Testing and the Global Neurodegeneration portfolio, driving brands to blockbuster status. Before coming to Nouscom, she was an Operating Principal with Life Science Venture Capital firm, Versant Ventures.
